Day 2 of Emily's Colorado vacation finds her headed to the mountains.

Lots of the trees were already turning for fall.

Grampa and Grammy take a turn at holding Emily.

The road up into the mountains was steep and twisty.

But the view was worth the drive.

You can just barely make out the snow-capped mountains in the distance.

(It was easier to see in person.)

Grammy, Emily, and Aunt Jane hang out at the rehersal dinner.

Dad, Grammy, Emily, and Great-Grammy take a turn in front of the camera.

Four generations of Cuthberts sit together.

On the way to Denver, the plane ride doesn't phase Emily a bit.

All that worrying about the cabin pressure was for nothing.

Nevertheless, traveling has made for an exhausting day.

Emily has learned how to turn her aquarium on and off.

She likes to do it over and over and over again.

After getting dressed, Emily heads back to play with the fish again.

Grammy and Grampa visit for the weekend to babysit.

Emily has fun playing with her blocks.

It's not long before she decides to find out what they taste like.

Unfortunately, they don't quite fit in her mouth.

Perhaps this little bug will be a better snack.

It's hard to believe anyone could get this excited about eating a bug.

Emily works on getting her pacifier back into her mouth on her own.

Oh, bath time is fun! Bath time is fun!

It's as good a time as any to see what your feet taste like.

Soapy, yet satisfying.

Later, Emily wrestles Mom for a sip of root beer (probably to wash down the taste of feet).

Emily practices sitting up on her own.

She's getting pretty good at it.

Next, she decides to see what Mango tastes like.

Luckily, Mango is a good sport.
